Inspiring story that motivates me

 I like to read books from this one author, he got a very nice plot stories, inspiring and motivating stories. I believes that some stories are based on his real life. Who is this author? He is Teme Abdullah.



Teme Abdullah is not his real name, he hides his identity but the most important thing is we know he wrote very good stories. 'Siri Jalanan' or 'Jalanan Series' is my favourite of his writings. It is about the journey of a regular Malaysian student who dreams of pursuing his studies overseas. Despite financial problems and some external problems, he managed to pursue his study at United Kingdom, self-sponsored. No scholarship, no study loan but everything on himself. 

The struggles during his study were quite hard and different from other students that study there. How to stay living, how to earn money for his foods and education equipment. He is an architecture student, which needs more expenses to buy all art equipments. But, his passion in art can't be given up, he trust himself and believe in Allah. Always pray to Allah and keep striving his dream. His determination to study overseas and be a successful author motivates me to keep doing and hustle with my study and work. 

Since I read his works, I'm getting confident with my path of education and getting more spirit to be successful person. Then, I can contribute something to the society through my specialty. As you can see from his picture, he didn't show his face, he never reveals his identity even his name or face. The reason why he hides the identity because he don't want to make the fame as his part of personal life, he want to feel the sincerity of his passion and works. That is the most inspiring part that I am so amazed.

  A normal human being, make sins everyday. We never escape from making mistakes in the world. These sins have become black spots in our hearts and make them sick. This video from Yasmin Mogahed gives us an awareness of this. Sometimes we are feeling doubtful in doing good deeds or obeying amar ma'ruf and nahi munkar when it is obviously an obligation for us as it was mentioned in the Quran. My Experience & Hope

 The Community Engagement Project has given a precious experience for me. When I was searching for the information and discussing with my groupmates regarding the topic 'Depression is a sign of weak Iman', I got to reflect myself to always be concerned with people's emotion. The importance of faith is one of the point that give me a bigger relation of mental health and Iman.  Usrah Budi session is one of my resting and gaining knowledge platform. There are so many topics covered by Naqibah and group projects that acknowledge various issues and concerned. I feel happy with this group of people because everyone is very responsive and like to voice out their opinion. I can benefits a lot from this session. Alhamdulillah.  I hope for the next Usrah Budi or any study circle I may have more fun activities because nowadays we are having online class, and sometimes I lost my focus in class. USRAH BUDI 4 Reflection

 I have joined Usrah Budi 4 class for this semester, Semester 2, 2021/2022 with Sister Fida Ibrahim. The usrah session this time was more fun because there were various types of input given. Usrah sessions are filled with beneficial activities such as Tadabbur, sharing sessions, games, short film reviews and more. I love usrah sessions that have a variety of activities and provide knowledge and teaching at the same time. In terms of the content of the partnership, all of those partnerships can serve as a reminder to myself in being grateful and always remembering God. It became my spiritual food in my busy study. Sometimes the naqibah will give me a task to review a song or a short video, this activity opened my eyes to better think and understand the beauty of Islam.
